Tricia Broadbent

Lone Peak High School
Salt Lake City
Tricia Broadbent, who is the facilitator of this class, is currently teaching Interior Desgin classes at Lone Peak High School. She will start her 5th year this fall. Prior to teaching at the high school level she taught at South Jordan Middle School years ago. She then enjoyed being a stay at home mom for 15 years. Tricia loves teaching high school students and has her dream job. One of the highlights is the District House project she has done with her Interior Design 3 (Advanced class) for the last couple years. As Garrick Peterson quoted at the Solution Tree conference in September 2017, "The district house project is one of the highest levels and greatest examples of DOK 4 there is. Students are using extended thinking in all aspects of the project." It's been a learning curve but has such a rewarding outcome to see the finished product! Tricia lives in Cedar Hills with her husband and has 5 amazing children, 1 awesome son in law, and a new grand daughter who is the love of her life!
