Natalie began her teaching career 30 years ago as a middle school Art teacher.  She taught in Brisbane, Northern Territory, and Perth, Australia, for thirteen years.  She spent the last three years teaching at Monument Valley High School in the Navajo Nation.  Best job ever!! She is a Utah Art Education Association Board member over awards and the secretary for CTSA Utah. One of her passions is advocating for teachers as the Hope Street Fellow and KnowledgeWorks Fellow.  I was just selected as a 2024 UEA Policy Ambassador. She received her BA at Southern Utah University, her MEd in Guidance and Counseling at the University of Queensland (Australia), and she’s just completed her second Master of Education in Education Policy at Southern Utah University.  She is endorsed in Secondary Art Education, ELL, FACs, Public Speaking, and Education Technology. Her thesis is Culturally Responsive Education: Teaching Art in the Navajo Nation using Norman Rockwell's Four Freedoms Re-imagine. "My passion is teaching my students to share their voice through their Art.."
