Zero Fatalities - Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety
It doesn't matter if you are a pedestrian, motoriest, bicyclist or motercyclist, we are all responsible to keep Utah's roadways safe.  To educate and influence our teens about being safe in and around vehicles, Zero Fatalities wil be offering teachers videos, presentation opportunities and educational material that can be used with and by their teens to infuence safe driving.

Teaching Tough Topics

The Adult Roles curriculum covers many sensitive topics including STI’s, sexuality, abuse, rape, gender roles, pornography etc.  In an ever changing world it is important that we are inclusive in how we teach topics relating to dating, marriage, and families.  Come receive ideas on how to cover some of these tough topics to ensure that our curriculum is inclusive for all of our students.  Time will be given for teachers to share ideas on how they address these tough topics.  More information will also be given regarding the changes to the human sexuality policy.

Culinary Arts Round Table

Culinary Arts (Formerly Food Services/Culinary Arts) strands and standards have been revised this year to better parallel other culinary programs used in the state.  The new strands and standards will be spread out and allow time for teachers to brainstorm on teaching methods and potential labs for the new strands.
