Survival curriculum identifies key components of and helps individuals to build successful relationships in a fun and hands-on way. This session will discuss and highlight parts of four lesson plans provided in the Dating Survival curriculum: building healthy and fun relationships, building strong communication, getting to know you, and dating safety. Information will also be provided on how to get a copy of this FREE curriculum.


Naomi Brower

Extension Associate Professor, Utah State University
Naomi Brower works for Utah State University as an Extension faculty for 4-H and Family and Consumer Sciences in Weber County. Naomi has been working with afterschool sites since 2008 and currently provides resources to 15 afterschool sites.

Carolyn Washburn

USU Extension FCS Professor - Washington County, Utah State University Extension
Carolyn is a semi retired USU Professor in Washington County. She loves the FACS teaching areas of focus and values the profession. Carolyn enjoys her grandchildren, a little travel and presenting with Darlene.
