A great class where participants will be sewing a fun and stylish knit dress. This dress could be used as a project for Apparel Design and Production I & II. It’s an easy pattern that allows students to make a comfortable dress mastering sewing techniques with different types of knit fabrics.

Class Supply List: Participants will need to choose from the 3 choices of patterns.

1)     McCall's 6957;   2) New Look S0945;   3) McCall’s 7240

  • Purchase pattern and knit fabric needed for your size.  Bring matching thread, shears, seam ripper, and pins to sew with. Teacher will provide a knit (ball point) needle.
  • Bring pattern pieces cut out in your correct size.  You will want to make any changes to your pattern pieces before you cut it out.  This may include cutting the neck higher or lengthening the dress pattern.
  • Email me if you have any questions.  bonny.groneman@nebo.edu .  If you come with your dress cut out, you should be able to take home your finished dress!
