Welcome to the FACS Summer Conference! Please remember that classes below are subject to change. All classes are on a first come first serve basis and selecting a class for your schedule does not guarantee a seat will be reserved for you. The only exception is the limited seating classes; however, your seat will be given to the next person in line if you are more than 10 minutes late.

ServSafe Managers Certification Training and Test PART 2

This is the second part of the session. You must sign up for this session after signing up for the first part at 10:30am.

Every food and nutrition, and culinary teacher would greatly benefit by having the ServSafe Managers Certification. This certification is one of the stackable credentials for our students who take our culinary courses and industry loves seeing this credential on job applications. The Utah Restaurant Association president Melva Sine is working with us to support you as an educator to earn certification. The training and testing for the ServSafe Managers Certification will take a four hour block of time at our summer conference. There will be two hoursof content training and two or less hours to take the test online at Westlake High School.  

Before summer conference, teachers who are interested in earning this certification will need to let us know by signing up on SCHED for this training.  We will be contacting you to get you a study guide for this training and test. All of our ProStart programs have multiple copies of the study guide for the ServSafe Managers Certification.

The ServSafe Managers Certification online test costs $32 and teachers will have to pay for this test themselves.  The conference will not cover this cost.
